Refurbishment of
An Artisan Dwelling
Location : Stoneybatter, Dublin
Status: Completed May 2005
This existing mid terrace two-storey house and its lean-to extension was completely refurbished as the original was dark, crowded and did not meet building regulation standards. New hardwood doors were introduced to connect the living room with the new elevated south facing deck. A new kitchen and bathroom was installed and the roof to the kitchen was remodelled to maximise light. The wall between the stairs and living room was removed to enhance the feeling of space.
